The Guild
Aztecs is an established, multinational guild based on Al’Akir where we are the home to over 130 accounts. Formed on the 21st of September 2005, we have members from Iceland to Estonia, passing through Denmark, Sweden, Holland and the UK (plus some who got lost on their way to German / Spanish servers!).  Most members are in their mid twenties, although we have several ‘more experienced’ colleagues.  We don't generally invite applicants under the age of 18 unless they blow us away with an application and make us feel confident they would fit in with our existing members.

We started out primarily as a social guild and elements of that are still very much with us today, with raiders outnumbered by social members here to enjoy the game however they can. We are not, and never will be a hardcore raiding guild.  We’d like to think we can offer the best of both social and raiding worlds – 5 man groups are easy to pickup, we have many active PvPers, we run social raids (10 and 25 man) on off days and of course, we don’t have problems running progress raids.

The guild  is run by a team of officers (mostly made up of long term raiders who have been silly enough to volunteer for the job), headed by Blind, who administer raids and the general running of the guild.

Raiding with Aztecs
We offer a stable, quality raiding environment that values our members, many of whom have been in the guild for well over a year. We aren’t a server leading guild, and never will be. We do however intend to keep up with the content (including hard modes), something we have already proven ourselves at throughout Sunwell and tier 7 content, and now in Ulduar. We raid for 3 hours on Wednesday, Thursday & Monday and for 4 hours on Sunday.

Where possible we prefer to fill our raid team with social members who have expressed a wish in raiding as we have gotton to know them and their capabilities; raiding with friends is always more fun. When there are no suitable social members we turn to the WoW general populace to boost our numbers, and trial those who will be an asset to the guild as a whole and most importantly, fun to spend time with.

Most of our raiders raid around 3 evenings a week – we rotate raid spots to allow for real life to continue and to prevent raiders getting burnt out. We try to take into account work, families and all those other things that can interfere with playing a computer game as much as we can though we do ask that you are able to attend, on average, two or more raids a week and that member communicate with the rest of the guild through our forums and plan their time using the raid planner.

Raid Days & Times:
Wednesday, 8pm - 11pm Server time
Thursday, 8pm - 11pm Server time
Sunday, 7pm - 11pm Server time
Monday, 8pm - 11pm Server time

Invites begin 30 minutes prior to raid start.

Other days will often have social 10 & 25 man raids scheduled.
